In 1988, the St. Louis Chapter was established by Ruth LaValle, Suzanne Capelton (Deceased) and Joyce Ball. Today we have 15 dynamic women in our chapter engaged in helping children and families in need. Seven of these women are charter members. Since 1989, the St. Louis chapter has channeled our services and financial resources to organizations engaged in fulfilling the total needs of the community. Among the many local community organizations that have benefited from our financial resources and support are Community Women against Hardship, Echo Children’s Home, Missouri Baptist Boys Home, American Red Cross, Girls Inc. of St. Louis, NAACP, Greater St. Louis Urban League, and Every Child's Hope. We want our legacy of tomorrow to be determined by what we do today, who we serve and what actions we take to enrich the lives of others. |
