I have been the Wasp Online program coordinator at JHS since 2011, however my career at JHS began in 2006 when I was hired as the Ednet Concurrent Enrollment Coordinator.  During the five years prior to working here, I served on the JHS parent committee, volunteered in various classrooms at Mona Elementary, and ran a small preschool while raising my two youngest children.  Until 2001, I worked for a global corporation as the Americas Region Training and Development Manager where I was responsible for employee training and leadership development initiatives for locations in North America and South America, and also served on a corporate team responsible for worldwide initiatives.  For the 10 years prior to that, I served in a variety of capacities including Senior Human Resources Manager for the Utah and Idaho sites of Modus Media.

I grew up on a farm in Missouri with parents who taught me the value of hard work and dedication. I have also been privileged to live and work in Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio before coming to Utah.  I have been married to my husband, David, for 21 years and we have lived in Mona for 18 years.  We have 5 children and 5 grandchildren.  Our twin daughters, Ashley and Sarah, graduated from JHS in 2005, our son Josh graduated in 2014, our son Aaron is a senior at JHS this year, and our daughter Valerie is in 8th grade at JJHS.

I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my grandkids, reading, and playing or watching sports as one of Juab's biggest fans!  I was fortunate enough to be able to play college basketball, and have spent countless hours coaching youth basketball teams over the years.  I grew up Catholic, but am an LDS convert since 1995, and have served in a variety of church callings over the years.  I am currently a Gospel Doctrine teacher and a librarian for the Mona 1st Ward.

I went to Monroe City High School in Monroe City, MO until 1982, and then in 1986, I graduated magna cum laude from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. During the four years at C-SC, I also nearly finished a second bachelor's degree (no minors offered) in Physical Education with only 1 course and my student teaching remaining. I hope to decide on and pursue a Master's degree in Education in the near future.

In Wasp Online, I love helping all students learn and grow, and especially enjoy supporting them as they prepare to meet their career goals and pursue their lifelong dreams.  I have worked with and for some amazing people over the years, and there are no better people in the world than our students, and the faculty and staff here at JHS!  Go WASPS!!!!
