Personalized Learning Plan

posted Sep 21, 2017, 6:43 AM by Joshua Watson

We will begin working on personalized learning plans via Khan academy (this is the functionality we were waiting for). To get started (read all instructions first), click here, then click on 11th grade, then math III (make sure math III is the only checked box). Click on "start" next to functions, then click on start Quiz . Khan Academy will automatically adapt to where you are and help you fill in the holes.

Class Notes Online: Get Them Anytime!

posted Aug 30, 2017, 1:52 PM by Joshua Watson

Because Boise School District is pretty great, I now have the technology to create and share in-class notes via OneNote. I will not use this tool everyday, so you can't rely on it completely. I'll be more clear, you'll still need to take your own notes! Note that only handwritten notes will be allowed on the test - so you can't just print mine off and use them.

Without further ado, click here to see our in class notes anytime, anywhere. Make sure to bookmark this page so you can easily get back.

Logarithms Review

Hello Seminar. Please take some time to subscribe to these seminar posts (hit the top button, not the bottom one).

Sometimes you just don't remember a particular idea or formula. Google is your best friend in this case. If you search Google for logarithms, one of the first results is listed below. You have to make sure that your website is reputable though - some websites give horribly presented or even false information. I particularly like the website linked below.

Page 1- Introduction to logarithms
Page 2 - Exponents and logarithms

Read ALL of both pages (I know, it's long, but at least it's colorful!). Turn to your neighbor and explain everything on both pages. I expect this to take about 25-30 minutes. Come talk to me when you are done. Go!
