Snow College FFA Field Day-Practices, Permission, and More!

If you are planning on attending the Snow College FFA Field day on October 7th, please plan on attending at least one of the practices. Practices will be held Thursday October 2nd after school, and Friday September 3rd before school at 7. 

Also make sure your grades are up. Remember Mrs Neil is only letting those students who currently are passing all classes attend! Bring your parent permission slip to Mrs Neil before Tuesday!

If you attending the field day, make sure you have the following items with you. We are leaving at 6:45am, and will be meeting in the front of the school.
--Official dress- Black pants are acceptable for female students competing in Horse Judging or Livestock Judging, all other should be in black knee length skirts. Scrubs are appropriate for the Vet Tech contest.
--$ for lunch. We will be stopping at a fast food restaurant somewhere on the way home. Make sure you have money for lunch.
--Jacket, coat or hoodie. Some of the contests are outside and it can be very cold.
-- Pen or pencil- used for marking cards, taking tests, etc during contests.
--Notebook- used for taking notes, etc during contests
--Homework- What better to do when riding on a bus for 3.5-4 hours during the day?


Opening Social!

Waffles! After school on Thursday September 11th we are having a waffle social after school! Come meet your FFA officers, eat some good food, and get your new membership cards! See you then!

FFA State Fair "Little Hands"

On Tuesday Sept 9th, the Herriman FFA chapter has the chance to run the State Fair "Little Hands on the Farm" exhibit. If you are interested in helping grab a permission form from Mrs. Neil and come with us! Bus leaves at 9:30am and we will be back around 5:45. Must be passing all A day classes to attend, and be a current dues paying FFA member. Final list as to who is excused will be posted on Monday.
