Why Choose Agricultural Education?
agricultural education, students are provided opportunities for leadership
development, personal growth and career success. Agricultural education
instruction is delivered through three major components:
1) Classroom/Laboratory instruction (contextual learning)
2) Supervised Agricultural Experience programs
3) Student Leadership Organizations (National FFA Organization)
These three elements combined allow students chances to expand their knowledge beyond the classroom and learn life skills while participating in a student leadership based program.
Here at Herriman High our full Ag Ed program allows students to be FFA members and continue to build their knowledge and skills throughout their high school career. We truly believe that
"FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for...
PREMIER LEADERSHIP, PERSONAL GROWTH, and CAREER SUCCESS,
through agricultural education."
