Benefits of Taekwon-Do

Children can develop self-discipline and confidence through Taekwon-Do lessons and training. They will learn to get goal and to overcome challenges with an indomitable spirit. Regular training in Taekwon-Do can help children with excess energy to adequately utilize their energy and to develop their concentration. Those who are less active or introvert can gain confidence, improve physical condition through various group activities. Taekwon-Do plays an important role in a child's mental and physical development. It is recognized as one for the official sports in the Olympic competition

Obedience: Students are expected to follow the school’s regulations and rules. They learn to respect instructors, the elderly, parents and their peers. Students will learn how questions are asked and will learn how to present answers politely at appropriate times. They also learn to cooperate with their peers in harmony.

Appearance and Manner: Students in our school are required to be in clean and neat  uniforms to be clean and neat. Personal grooming, such as clean and trimmed fingers and toe nails, and hair are required. Students are expected to have good manners; not to use foul language and not to raise their voice at inappropriate times.

Sense of Responsibilities: Our program will help the students to develop a responsible attitude. Our school teaches the students to make the necessary preparations before examining the student passport, uniform, and time schedule. Reinforcing the sense of responsibility, the students will be disciplined appropriately if they are late for class, or forget to bring their student passport, uniform, and time schedule. Mutual Respect: Through training in Taekwon-Do, mutual respects get accustomed to the importance of mutual living. It also encourages those who have an introvert personality to make new friends, expand their social network and to become more comfortable in group activities.

Self-Esteem (Confidence):  Nowadays many children are lack of self-built confidence, resulting in a weak will of undertaking new tasks and giving up easily when facing challenges. Our school emphasizes the importance of building self-confidence. It can be gained through our in-class demonstration and tournaments. Growing advantages will be seen in different areas in students’ life, such as increase in their abilities to finish own tasks and good attitude towards new challenges.
