Why You Should Join Our Club

The Johnson Creek FFA strives to promote premier leadership, personal growth, and career success for all of its members. The Johnson Creek FFA was founded in 1971, and has passed its many traditions on to their current FFA members. The Johnson Creek FFA currently has 50 active members, with six FFA officers, and their advisor Ms. Kelsey Sambs.

If you have a passion for agriculture, a desire to develop your leadership skills, meet new people, and travel the globe, the FFA is a great organization to be part of. The National FFA Organization has 579,678 FFA members, aged 12‒21, in 7,570 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

To accomplish its mission, FFA:
  • Develops competent and assertive agricultural leadership.
  • Increases awareness of the global and technological importance of agriculture and its contribution to our well-being.
  • Strengthens the confidence of agriculture students in themselves and their work.
  • Promotes the intelligent choice and establishment of an agricultural career.
  • Encourages achievement in supervised agricultural experience programs.
  • Encourages wise management of economic, environmental and human resources of the community.
  • Develops interpersonal skills in teamwork, communications, human relations and social interaction.
  • Builds character and promotes citizenship, volunteerism and patriotism.
