  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid
    The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is opening October 1st.  Jerome High School will host a FAFSA Night open to Seniors and their parents on October 13, 2016 6:00-8:00 PM. 
    • An FSA ID (electronic signature) is required for the student and a parent
    • Complete the FAFSA here: https://fafsa.ed.gov/
    • FAFSA money DOES NOT have to be paid back
    • FAFSA money can be used for many types of schooling after high school
    • The FAFSA should be updated every year you continue your education after high school
    • Award amount is based on income taxes

Deadline 4/1/17 The maximum grant available from the Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund is $10,000 per year. The Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund aids people active in movements for social and economic justice. Deadline 4/1/17 The purpose of the Gloria Mattera National Migrant Scholarship Fund is to assist financially those migrant youth who have the potential and the desire to further their education to achieve their personal and career goals. Eligible applicants must be entering or enrolled in college or other types of post-secondary programs. Deadline 5/1/17 The Merritt Brook Scholarship was set up to serve graduating students with a minimum 2.5 GPA from accredited Idaho high schools in the Magic Valley, including Blaine, Camas, Cassia, Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka and Twin Falls counties. We seek applicants who have a clearly defined goal for college and plan to attend any accredited 2-4 year college or university in the United States. Scholarship awards are generally made for the initial year of college but we also consider multi-year awards at the discretion of the scholarship committee upon the student’s continued academic performance. Returning applicants are given equal consideration in our review of applicants. The judges are looking for students who show the greatest potential as future scientific leaders. Deadline 11/29/15 BBG provides the Youth Volunteer Scholarship Award to recognize and reward a student who demonstrates a passion for volunteering, while maintaining a high level of academic achievement. 1. Over the past 2 years a student must have completed a minimum of 50 hours of volunteer work. 2. Over the past 2 years a student must have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or greater. 3.
