Nick from Pommies Dry Cider and Chris from West Avenue Cider. They have been using our kegs for a few months now and I miust say, I quite enjoy throwing a party when we are graced with a full keg of cider from time to time ;)

posted Jun 9, 2014, 1:26 PM by Andres Jensen

It has been a little while since our last post, things have been crazy busy and we have a lot of things in the works to be announced soon!

Most recently we have just returned from a great trip to eastern Canada. Our first stop was Sponsoring the Canadian Brewing Awards in Fredericton which was a blast. We were able to promote our awesome kegs to everybody that attended and had a ton of fun doing it! You can see our booth and the awards gala in the pictures below.
We then went on a small road trip - or sales trip, I should say - to PEI and then Nova Scotia. What a beautiful drive and great times with great customers. We also had the opportunity to stop into various potential customers and are sooo happy with how inviting everyone is and how delicious everyones Beer, Wines and Ciders are. If you would like to try out our Petainer One Way Recyclable Kegs, give a shout or shoot us an email and we are happy to work with you i n any way we can!

Move Over Steel Kegs.... Here Come PET Plastic Kegs!!!

posted Mar 24, 2014, 3:32 PM by Andres Jensen

It may not be an overnight thing, but down the road, chances are PET Plastic kegs will make a permanent home in the industry and one day may even overtake the Steel Kegs. If you put your self back about 50-60 years in the brewing industry, there must have been these poor guys going brewery to brewery with this steel keg trying to sell them to brewers on the premiss that it is the future and all kegs will be steel one day and not wooden casks.
Well fast forward to today, and you can see that Steel kegs have become industry standard, and now that 50-60 years have passed, as we all know; evolution is a must and the next stage in the evolution of kegs is....... Petainer PET Plastic Recyclable Kegs!   Contact us for more information on how you can get started with these Amazing Kegs!!!

These picture below show the evolution of kegs as well as a very innovative idea that shows a great use for steel kegs when they become the "VHS" of the industry and PET Plastic Kegs takes over!!!  (one day :)

Petainer has recently re-developed their lifting handles for their Classic Kegs. From the old black plastic lifting handle, to the new, much stronger, stainless steel lifting handle. This is a great design and a great tool for lifting filled 20L and 30L Classic kegs into our new boxes.

New Box for Petainer Classic Kegs!

posted Feb 15, 2014, 10:29 AM by Andres Jensen   [ updated Feb 17, 2014, 8:05 PM ]

We have recently worked with Petainer to re-develop the boxes for Petainer Classic Kegs. Our new box has Use & Disposal Instructions printed on the Top, Front & Back to ensure no matter what side of the box you are on, you are able to see the proper instructions; and on the front of the box is a small window for end users inventory control, as well as to be able to see hoe much beer is left in the keg. The box is also much stronger than the previous box which will be a huge benefit to light sweating and most importantly the transportation and export of Petainer Keg filled with beer. We are always working toward innovating for a sustainable future and we welcome any suggestions and ideas to help us and our customer be on the forefront of the beverage industry!
