Ms. A.
Welcome back!  I hope that you all have a fabulous summer.  I can't wait to see those smiling faces and hear all about it.   Just wanted to share a little about myself, especially for those who are attending my class for the very first time.   I have taught many different grades throughout my long career in Jefferson County.  I've taught 6th grade, 5th grade, 3rd grade, 2nd grade, and now special education k-6.

I am very excited to begin a new school year and implement the new ideas and strategies I learned about this summer.   We are ready to work with you and our colleagues to help your child reach their full potential.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy boating and skiing. I enjoy spending time in the wonderful Rocky Mountains and camping near a campfire.   The thing I enjoy most is spending time with my own children and watching them grow and learn.

I'm looking forward to a great year, helping your children reach their goals.  I know that working together, we will help them be successful!  Here's to an amazing year!  Stop by and meet our new principal and drop in the class when you're near.

Ms. Delaney
Welcome to the 2017-2018 School Year!  I hope everyone had a wonderful summer and enjoyed lots of fun in the sun!  This year I will be joining Ms. A and Mrs. Phair in the K-6th SSN2 classroom.  This is my 4th year at Foothills Elementary.  I have worked in various positions, including last year where I worked in the K-2nd SSN2 classroom.  I have a bachelor's in Physical Education, and I am currently attending Regis University where I am enrolled in a Special Education masters program.

When I am not at school, I enjoy engaging in any outdoor activities.  I love hiking, swimming, horseback riding, and sharing stories by a campfire with my family.  When I am not outdoors, I love reading lots of books!  I enjoy making a difference in a child's life and love seeing them learn and grow.

I cannot wait to work with your children and to see the progress they make.    This is going to be a wonderful year!
