I received an email from the director at Crieghton MS. There is major construction on Kipling from 6th to Alameda. Please plan on leaving early. If you arrive late for your audition we will for sure still hear you. Drive safe.
Ms Watts will be available after school the following days to help you work on All County Music. This time is for you to play through the piece and get some suggestions what you can do to improve your playing. This is not a time to be learning how to play the music for the first time. Reminder, our all area festival for the orchestra is tonight at 7 pm at Arvada West high school. Students need to be at the high school at 5:30
One of the great things about being in middle school, is that you are now the face for music in the West Valley Area. Every year we do a recruitment night for 6th graders, to let them see what band and orchestra is all about at Oberon.
YOU WILL NOT BE EATING PIZZA!!!!!
The Pizza is for the 6th graders. You will be playing a mini concert for them and their families so that they can hear and see our program here at Oberon.
ORCHESTRA-You need to be at Oberon at 6:15, so that we can be ready to play at 6:30 on DECEMBER 9th.
BAND- You need to be at Oberon at 6:15, so that we can be ready to play at 6:30 on DECEMBER 8th.
8th graders, this is an optional concert for you. If you would like to help out that is totally fine. Please let me know so I can expect you. 7th graders this is a required concert. Please let me know ASAP if you will not be there. If you would like to help out with the rehearsal (7th/8th) please talk to me and I can get you that information.
