The information about the test is here.
If you missed class, you will need to do the practice test on your own. A copy of the complete PSAT practice test is linked below. You can print the bubble sheet or just write your answer on a piece of paper. You only need to do sections 4. Section calculator allowed, 45 minutes. The reflection in the google slides is required for a classwork grade.

Side length properties of triangles 10/9

posted Oct 9, 2017, 2:14 PM by Regina Stewart

Today we looked at side length properties of triangles.
Triangle inequality theorem
We used Geogebra to explore patterns of side lengths using the converse to the Pythagorean theorem. We will continue with the investigation tomorrow.
Homework: Khan assignments due the end of the week (end of the day Thursday since you have Friday off.)

Angle properties in triangles 10/6

posted Oct 9, 2017, 2:11 PM by Regina Stewart

Today we looked at the triangle sum theorem and the exterior angle theorem.  Here are a couple videos to help see what they are.
Then we completed the attached puzzle using classification and angle properties we've been working on.

Stations 10/4

First, we looked up grades since 6 week grades are posting this week.
Then we split into three groups for rotations:
Ms. Miller and Mrs. Maseberg- work on project
Mrs. Stewart- online Geometric proofs
Mr. Sundbye- triangle sum theorem
