8th Grade
8th grade members are expected to maintain the scholarship, citizenship, service, leadership, and character standards which were the basis for his/her selection to the society. Membership commitment begins with the induction ceremony and continues the entire 8th grade year by maintaining a 3.6 GPA, completing 30 hours of service, and attending all scheduled meetings.
7th Grade
7th graders who maintain a 3.6 GPA during Trimester 1 and 2 and are in good academic standing will receive an invitation to apply to National Junior Honor Society as an 8th grader. The application process includes letters of recommendation from their teachers and writing an essay that demonstrates they have the qualities the society is looking for.
