How to cite an image (from Purdue Owl):

If the work is cited on the web only, then provide the name of the artist, the title of the work, and then follow the citation format for a website. If the work is posted via a username, use that username for the author:

Adams, Clifton R. “People relax beside a swimming pool at a country estate near Phoenix, Arizona, 1928.” Found, National Geographic Creative, 2 June 2016, natgeofound.tumblr.com/.

Author, Username. "Title of Image." Found, Website Title, Date Accessed. Website.

Writing Component for PBL

Answer the following questions in paragraph format as thoroughly as possible.  These answers will also be present in bullet point format on each slide of your presentation the last week of the semester.

  1. What is the content of your advertisement? Why?

  2. What brand archetype did you choose? How is this seen through your advertisement? Why did you specifically choose this brand?

  3. Who is your audience? Why? Describe everything you know about them and why you’re targeting this specific demographic. In this section, also explain what motivates this demographic and what feelings you’re targeting or trying to manipulate with your ad.

  4. What is your perspective of your advertisement topic? What are you hoping your audience’s perspective will be?

  5. What image or images are you using in your advertisement? What is the purpose of these specific images?

  6. What text are you putting on your advertisement? Why? Where will it be positioned?

  7. What type and size of font are you using throughout your advertisement? How does this contribute to the overall purpose of your advertisement?

  8. What colors have you chosen for each section of your ad? What do these colors represent? Or what emotions do they invoke? What is the purpose of your specific color choices?

  9. What is the overall purpose of your advertisement?

  10. Attach a printed version of your advertisement to your answers.
