Welcome!  I have been a teacher at Standley Lake High School since the fall of 2000, and currently have the good fortune to teach the following courses:

    IB Chemistry - 11th Grade

    Alameda High School: 1997 - 2000
    Everitt Middle School: 1996 - 1997
 
My educational background includes:
    Colorado Secondary Science Teaching License from CU Boulder, 1996
    M.S. in Natural Resources from the University of Vermont, 1990
    B.A. in Biology from Middlebury College, 1987
 
Activities:
    I am the faculty sponsor for the Standley Lake Science Club.
 
Interests:
    I have been a mountaineer for over 30 years.
    I enjoy long runs and have completed both marathons and ultras.
    I enjoy photography and writing.  I have two published books:
            Fractured Allegiance
            Mind Games and Malice
    I am married with two children and a couple of cats as well.
