Ralston is participating in the Jeffco 2020 Performance Task Springboard Project led by Chief Academic Officer, Syna Morgan.
The Purpose of the Project is to:
1. Participate in deeper learning of performance tasks as an integrated approach to measuring student learning.
2. Develop a performance assessment resource bank with performance tasks that measure Jeffco 2020 competencies.
3. Inform the development of future performance assessment professional learning for students, teachers and leaders.
Teachers will be exploring three different performance task models: CWRA, GRASP Model, Project Based Learning. From there they will design a performance task using one of the models and field test it to refine for inclusion in a resource bank made available to district staff. Finally, the teachers will participate as a scorer in itnter-rater reliability standards setting process and refine all performance tasks to share throughout the district.
Ralston staff will use the different performance task models to develop assessments tied to our curriculum.
