Jeffco Public Schools Facilities Master Plan 2016: Come learn about the Jeffco Public Schools Facilities Master Plan (FMP)! Our goal is to provide the best learning environment for our students and the best teaching environment for our staff.  This plan aims to maximize utilization of existing facilities, expand on efficient use of available resources, and provide a modern learning environment while recognizing the individuality and interdependence of our schools.

The average age of Jeffco Public Schools facilities is over 40-years-old.  Many of the buildings do not meet current needs and are in need of repair.  Our population has shifted and changed, demands on facilities now include advanced technology, preschool, before/after school programs, a wide arrange of sports activities, accessibility for the disabled, and have to support a variety of state and federal programs.  The draft FMP addresses our district's needs and plans for the future.

Find more information about the draft Faclities Master Plan now on BoardDocs (District-Wide Facilities Master Plan).  Additional information will be available on the district website at beginning Friday, April 22, following the Board of Education meeting on April 21.  Please see the times/dates/locations of meetings at Public Presentations Information.
