Remember, everything has to be school appropriate. Friday is also the last day to vote for Mr. Legs. Use your spare change to vote for the best legs at North Arvada.

Student leadership is raising money to support Pennies for Patients - a non-profit that supports cancer awareness and research. There are several activities planned. This week is the Mr. Legs competition. Students can use their change to vote for the male teacher with the best legs picture. At the end of the week we'll announce a winner. February 5th is Team Up Against Cancer day. Students and staff are encouraged to wear jerseys or team apparel to help raise cancer awareness. February 7th is PJ/hat day. Students and teachers can bring in $1 to wear either their pajamas or a hat, or both, to school that day. Bring in your change!
North Arvada is participating in An Hour of Code! December 10th, after school, in the library, we will have an hour of games, learning, and fun. Come join us and learn the basics of how to write computer programs.
North Arvada is selling candy canes and hot chocolate to help raise money to support families in need right here in our school. Candy canes are $.50 and hot chocolate is $1.00. Enjoy some holiday sweets and help out your fellow students!
Student leadership is sponsoring a Halloween dance and costume contest. The dance will be October 31st, from 2:30-4:00. Put together your best costume and join us for the dance! (Students with a grade of D or F will work on bringing up their grade from 2:30-3:05 and then can attend the dance after school.)
Parent-teacher conferences are October 16th and 17th, from 4-8 pm. Come either day to talk to your student's teachers and pick up their TCAP scores from last spring. The book fair will be open both nights until 7:45. All purchases support the North Arvada library. Hope to see you at conferences!
