Check out this short video on how to efficiently search the web!

Your final product is only as good as the sources you use to find your information!
Use this rubric to evaluate a website BEFORE you start taking notes or writing down any information! Make sure you have a good, reliable source. Remember, no source is good enough all by itself - you should have at least 3 sources (websites, databases, books, encyclopedias) for any project or paper.
Click on the rubric to get a form you can fill out to rate your source.

A great way to do research, with good reliable sources, is to use the research databases from the Jefferson County Public Library. All you need is a library card (it's free - see Mrs. Pengelly or visit the public library to get one if you don't have one already).
