I am so excited to join the Falcon Bluffs family! This is my second year as school social worker and I am elated to be a part of this community. I graduated from the University of Denver with my Master's degree in Social Work in June of 2014. Before that, I attended Colorado State University (Go Rams!) where I received my Bachelors degree in social work. While in graduate school I worked for the Jefferson County Juvenile Assessment Center as a Juvenile Assessment Specialist. My time spent at the JAC led me to become familiar with the JeffCo area and resources that are available for students and their families.

When I am not fighting for social justice I like to spend my time with friends and family. I also enjoy snowboarding, hiking with my dog, seeing live music, watching the Broncos, and reading.

My passion is in helping students figure out who they are, what they believe in and applying those values within their every day interactions with peers and teachers.

I am a resource for both students and families. If there is ever something I can help with, please do not hesitate in contacting me. I am more than willing to find the solution to a problem and if I don't know the answer, we will learn and figure it out together!

I am here to help with issues/concerns around:
  • Peer pressure
  • Depression
  • Suicide
  • Bullying
  • Cyberbullying
  • Responsible digital citizenship
  • Sexual harassment
  • Physical/sexual/emotional abuse
  • Substance use/abuse
  • Eating disorders
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Identity issues
I look forward to working with the Falcon Bluffs community and meeting as many families as I can!
