Requirements for NAHS Induction

NAHS/Art Club: Mandatory Meetings are the 1st Tuesday of every month @7:15am in N106- complete online absence form if you can not attend. All absences from a meeting result in 1 hour added in additional time for service or in school hours. We will have "Open Studio" time during Wednesday Resource for various events: ToT street decorating, card making, etc. 

What's the difference between NAHS & Art Club?: Anyone is welcome to join Art Club! We are one large group, but there are some mandated nation-wide requirements for NAHS. NAHS inductions are in the spring (typically late April). 
To be inducted you need to have... 
  • Participate in each group event each semester: Trick or Treat street, etc.
  • completed 12 hours total to the club: 6 hour each semester (3 Service hours- outside of school, 3 In-School hours) 
  • an overall GPA of 2.0 by the time of induction
  • a 3.0 (B average) in your Art Course (at least 1 during the school year)
  • Be in good standing with attendance- all hours added are completed.

SENIORS:  Students must meet all requirements, are in good standing with the club & complete a 1-page Gallery/Museum reflection. 

Gallery visits can be submitted online via email or Google Docs.
