Fourth Grade Learning Goals Unit 6

Learning Goal: I will research the monthly high and low temperatures for a major world city and share my data using Google Sheets to create a spreadsheet and line graph. *Apply digital tools to gather, evaluate and use information.

Success Criteria:

I can sign in to my Jeffco Google account and open up Google Sheets.

I can merge and center the title of my spreasheet 'Weather Pattern for <insert name of city here>'
I can apply a new font color, font size and font style to my title.

I can give myself credit for my work.
I can input each of the twelve months into separate cells beginning with cell B4 and continuing to M4.

I can set up the Y axis by typing High in cell A5 and Low in cell A6.
I can use Weatherbase to research the monthly high and low temperatures for a major world city. 
I can input the weather data into the correlating cells on my spreadsheet. 
I can highlight the cells and insert a line graph.  
I can edit the title of my line graph and add labels for the x and y axis.

I can use EasyBib to give credit to the website I used to gather my research. *You will need to create your Work Cited in Google Docs and copy and paste it onto your Google Sheets.
I can preview my print and troubleshoot any issues with the layout prior to printing.

I can get feedback from my tech support team and with their okay, I can print.                                                  

Challenge: Create a comparison chart of the weather patterns in Denver compared to the weather patterns of the city you chose.
