Sixth Grade Learning Goal Unit 6

Your Mission: You are to plan a typical meal for yourself that can be purchased at a local restaurant (McDonald's, Chipotle, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Subway, Burger King, Arby's etc.). Your meal must include: a burger, sandwich or salad, a side order of french fries or other side item, a drink, and a dessert.

Learning Goal: I will use Excel or Google Sheets* to create a spreadsheet and two charts representing nutrition facts for a typical meal.  *Apply digital tools to gather, evaluate and use information.

*Screencasts are not available for students choosing to use Google Sheets. If you are an experienced Excel user, I recommend using Google Sheets to see how your skills transfer. If you are new to using digital spreadsheets, I recommend beginning with Excel and utilizing the screencasts.
