Welcome to English

My name is Amy Graham and this year I will be teaching English 9, English 11 , and Yearbook. This is my 24th year teaching, my 11th at Evergreen High School. Originally from Chicago, I moved to Evergreen with my family: my husband, Matt, my daughter, Bella (17), and my son, Jackson (14).

I love everything about English: vocabulary, grammar, short stories, plays, poems, novels, literary devices, and even writing!

Books are my passion. Please tell me about books you are reading and books that you love so I can add them to my Goodreads list! I am excited about this year--we have a lot of great pieces to read and a lot of complex topics to discuss! I want this to be a challenging and rewarding year so please don't hesitate to come to me with any questions, concerns, complaints, suggestions, or compliments! This is our learning community and we will all have a voice in a safe environment.
