Welcome to Mrs. Burnham's Classroom

I’m so excited to be your 5th grade teacher!  It’s going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and engaging learning! The theme of our classroom is “Goal Getters,” when we are focusing on the right mindset anything is possible! Teaching is my passion and I love coming to school each day. I’m dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential! 

I am married to my best friend, Grant, and we have a seven year old son named Brody. He is currently in second grade at Leawood.  

Originally from Kansas, I love the Chiefs! 

I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with my Masters in Elementary Education in 2015. This will be my twelfth year working in education and my second year in 5th grade. I’m so excited to be teaching your kiddos this year!
