Preschool at Lasley for 2017-2018
Lasley Elementary School is currently working to have a preschool at Lasley Elementary School for the 2017-2018 school year. It will be for children aged 3-4 (prekindergarten). This preschool will be open to the entire Jeffco community. More information will be posted on this website regarding details, registration procedures, and cost.
Please see the below link for more information.
New Medication Guidelines
The process for administering medication (prescription and non-prescription) to students has been updated. Parents must provide a medication order signed by their healthcare provider if their student has a condition that will require administration of any medication (prescription or non-prescription including Tylenol).
Parents are asked to provide medication along with the appropriately signed medication form which can be readily accessed on our Health Services website at http://www.jeffcopublicschools.org/health/medication.html Once received, a nurse may delegate administration of either a prescription or over-the-counter medication, based on the healthcare provider’s order.
Please contact your school’s clinic aide or the Health Services Department at 303-982-7251 should you have any questions.
Necessary information and forms for all medication including asthma are found through the link above.

From the Principal
Dear Lasley Families,
Welcome to Lasley Elementary School - Home of the Lions!
To experience Lasley is to experience an active student body, an experienced teaching staff and a vibrant school community. Our students follow the principles of P.R.I.D.E. (Personal Responsibility, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence!)
As a neighborhood suburban elementary school, we celebrate our diversity and are committed to excellence and equity. Our successful educators, who consistently realize the value and potential that is inherent in each student, demonstrate understanding, respect, and appreciation for students’ cultures and life experiences through their lessons, attitudes, and daily interactions. Finally, we pledge that:
· A student who has completed 7 years with us will have received a World-Class Education.
· Parents feel welcomed and comfortable visiting and volunteering in “their” school.
· Equity for all people permeates the culture.
· Our mission and vision are followed and adhered to.
· Lasley Pride will always be our guide.
Please stop by and say hi! I would love to visit with you!
