A little about me

Hello!  I am so proud to have been a Standley Lake teacher for three years now.  I am a Colorado native who graduated with a degree in International Affairs from CU Boulder.  I studied abroad in Senegal (West Africa) and enjoy traveling, hiking, and being outdoors.   Before coming to Standley Lake, I worked with refugees in the Denver Metro area and taught for two years at an Expeditionary School in the Mapleton School District.   I volunteer with SOS Outreach where I mentor a small group of students and support them as they learn how to snowboard.  I have coached club volleyball for several seasons and am excited to be the Freshmen volleyball coach at Standley this year.   I am also currently pursuing a masters degree in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education.
