Read Pages 894 - 898 on the topic of Law of Cosine
Copy Law of Cosine on the top of Page 895
Do Activity on Page 896 (You should have found that there are 2 solutions in the interval (0,180) when using the law of sines to find the masure of an angle and that there is 1 possible solution when using the law of cosines)

  • y = a sin (b(x - h)) + k
  • (a - Vertical stretch/compression, b - Horizontal stretch/compression, h - Phase(horizontal shift) & k - Vertical shift)
