Why Would I Use It?
Students can virtually go places they have never been able to before using a class set of iTouches (district purchased) and Google Cardboard or by using iPads.

Possible Uses for Students
  • Go inside of the human body
  • Explore ancient ruins, famous land marks and world wonders
  • Visit museums and colleges
  • Dive underwater
  • Explore career opportunities

    Before You Get Started:
Google Expeditions with Cardboard is not recommended for children under 8 and for people prone to seizures. Take frequent breaks while using Expeditions and Cardboard. If you experience nausea, discomfort, eye strain, or disorientation, immediately discontinue using Cardboard.

Android devices cannot currently be connected to our internal network to be used for Expeditions.
    • Devices must be district owned.
    • You must be on the same internal wireless network.
    • Currently, Expeditions will not work in a BYOD environment.

    How to Get Started
    • Teachers: download the Expedition app from the App Store. Choose to be a "Guide" and enter your @jeffcoschools.us account information. Use the "Search" feature or scroll through the available expeditions to find and preview expeditions best suited for your curricular needs.
    • You can use your building iPads for an expedition. One iPad acts as a guide. Followers will not partake in the immersive 360 degrees experience but they can drag their finger to look around the photosphere.
    • You can contact your Ed Tech Specialist to check out a kit designed for 30 students. See the calendar and interest form below!
