DHS American History

This course is a chronological survey of American History from the Native Americans and explorers through recent decades in the late twentieth century. Major units of study are European Exploration, Colonial America, the American Revolution, our early government, territorial gains, the Civil War, western movement, the industrial revolution, immigration, the reform movement, World War I, the Great Depression, World War II, and the Post-World War II period.
