~On Monday, September 25th, 7th graders are to sign up and report to their 7th hour class.  Counseling will overhead page 7th graders in 2 groups to report to the cafeteria to meet with their counselor for the annual needs assessment.


~Attention all stage crew for "Is He Dead?".  There will be no stage crew today, but please plan to work on sets tomorrow starting at 1:00 and continuing until 5:00.  See Mr. Murphy if you have any questions.


~Today we have colleges from Scotland, New York and South Carolina visiting in the counseling center.  Learn more about the University of Aberdeen at 1:15 pm in which you will need a pass to attend and during 7th hour the College of Charleston and Sarah Lawrence College.  As always sign up with NAVIANCE.


~The biggest College Fair in Colorado is this weekend.  Make sure you attend the Denver NACAC Fair this Sunday, Sept 24th, at the Denver Merchandise Mart from 1 to 4 pm.  Over 300 colleges and universities will be visiting with students.   This is a great way to see colleges that will not be visiting D’Evelyn.  Please pre-register. 


~The Out-of-State College Fair at Lakewood High School is on Sept 28th from 6:30 to 8 pm.  Mountain Vista High School In-Out of State College Fair is on Saturday Sept 30th from 10 am to 2 pm.  Please pre-register.

 ~The Latin American Educational Foundation Scholarship application opens today and closes Nov 20th, 2017.  Must be a Colorado resident and have a 3.0 gpa.  Stop by Counseling if interested.

~This week kicks off the two weeks surrounding the NACAC College Fair.  Colleges will be visiting us throughout the day in addition to 7th hour.  Students are welcome to come at any time with permission of their teacher.  Sign up using NAVIANCE so passes can be sent to you. 


~Attention all interested girl swimmers and divers, there will be a short swim/dive meeting at the beginning of 7th period today in the cafeteria.  Spread the word and bring a friend.  Sign up for a 7th period, check in, come to the meeting and then go back to 7th when we are done.


~It's time to get fired up again! Come to the third annual D'Evelyn bonfire on Wednesday September 27th from 5 to 9.  Bring your friends and enjoy food trucks and fun!


~Students:  Are you good at multi-tasking?  If so, prepare for Tie Dye Day AND support student council AND the Make a Wish Foundation all at the same time! It is simple, for only $10.00 you can purchase a one-of a-kind DHS Wish Week tie-dye t-shirt.  It will support Noah, our Make a Wish kid who was diagnosed with leukemia.  You will be set in style for spirit week and our special tie-dye day on Tuesday.  Shirts will be on sale during lunch, hurry to get the best selection. P.S. Hand wash twice in warm soapy water before washing with other clothes.


~Tomorrow, Friday September 22 is an early release day. All students will be released at noon.


~Parents! Please help provide meals for our wonderful teachers during Parent Teacher Conferences on October 4th and 5th. Thank you!



~Jr. High Students & Families – Homecoming Celebrations are coming up next week!   The D’Evelyn Junior High Boosters are hosting their Fall Social on Friday, September 29th from 2:30-4:00pm in the Cafeteria.  Tickets are $5 and must be purchased during lunch on Thursday the 28th and Friday the 29th.  If you are interested in helping to ensure the success of this event, please Sign Up HERE.
