~7th Graders will be required to report to the auditorium for a Counselor presentation on Anti-Bullying.  Today, 7th graders with last names H-N will be required.

 ~Come support the marching band at the Jeffco Marching Band Festival today at the Jeffco Stadium.  The band performs at 5:45 with their 2017 show Villainesque.

~Students please remind your parents that tomorrow morning at 7:30 am is Coffee with the Counselors.  Meet Mr. Northway, Ms. Harrington,  Mr. Watson and Ms. Roberts.   All Parents are invited.

~Today in Counseling, Ms. Harrington will present a Common App Workshop. Seniors, if you are planning on applying via the Common App then this workshop is a must for you. Sign up on the 7th hour counseling app.

~We will be having a Model United Nations meeting this Thursday Sept 21 during 7th hr in Ms. Holland's room, W205.  All interested 8-11 graders are invited to attend.  Please sign up with your social studies teacher.

~ Need a tutor?  Sign up using the Peer Tutoring Request form found on the D’Evelyn Homepage under Academics →Peer Tutoring.  You may also see Mr. Kottcamp or your counselor for more information!

~Today, Metropolitan State University of Denver will be in the Counseling Center during 7th hour.  Metro is expanding their campus and has many exciting majors.  Tomorrow, the University of Northern Colorado from Greeley will be visiting with prospective students.  Sign up on NAVIANCE and the 7th hour counseling app. 

  ~The NACAC College Fair is this weekend!  Colleges from around the world and the United States will be visiting with us the next 2 weeks.  Most of these visits are during class time.  It is the only time you are allowed to miss class, with the approval of your teacher.  You will need a pass, so sign up using NAVIANCE!

 ~Seniors, are you looking for a 4 year renewable scholarship?  The Daniels Fund Scholarship Program is looking for students with strong character, leadership potential and who demonstrate financial need.  The online application is open from Sept 29 to Nov 30th.  Counseling has the information.

~Attention all interested girl swimmers and divers, there will be a short swim/dive meeting at the beginning of 7th period on Thursday, September 21, in the cafeteria.  Spread the word and bring a friend.  Sign up for a 7th period, check in, come to the meeting and then go back to 7th when we are done.

~It's time to get fired up again! Come to the third annual D'Evelyn bonfire on Wednesday September 27th from 5 to 9.  Bring your friends and enjoy food trucks and fun!


 ~"Sr. High Band and Orchestra students, this year's musical, "Big Fish", wants you! If you play an instrument and are interested in joining the musical's orchestra pit, sign up on the Drama Room door, in the Senior Hall. This is a preliminary list to get an idea for numbers so please sign up before Friday. This is a great opportunity to play some fun music and be a part of our theatrical production. Details and informational meetings coming soon!"


 ~The Cross Country team is still blazing through the season.  Girls Varsity clenched 3rd at the Arvada Wildcat Invite, and Girls JV took second.  There were strong performances from all, and we're looking forward to two meets this week: the Denver North Invite today, and Dave Sanders Invite on Friday. Come out and support our incredible team!
