Welcome Class of 2024! I am looking forward to a great year with all of you on 6 Green and very excited to be teaching Language Arts on the 6th grade team again. I feel very fortunate to be a part of the amazing Falcon Bluffs community.

Here is a little bit of information about me: I grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University. I then went to work in the architectural field as a designer and project manager. After 20+ years in architecture, I decided to go back to school to become a teacher.

Although I am a native of Colorado, I have lived in many places including Florida, New Brunswick, Canada, California, and Virginia. I have two wonderful children, both graduates of Chatfield Senior High. My son, Will, graduated from CSU in Ft. Collins and decided to stay up there after graduating. My daughter, Jessica, recently moved to Oregon to continue her education in graphic design. Steve, my husband, is retired from the U.S. Forest Service and loves to spend his time fly fishing, gardening, and cooking gourmet meals. We also have a very sweet, old Australian cattle dog, Cody. His active years are behind him now, but he is still willing to do some cool tricks for a treat.  When I'm not teaching, I enjoy hiking, gardening, painting, and reading.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. The best way to get in touch with me is through my email listed. I will email or call you back as soon as possible. We're going to have a great year!
