ICAP

Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP) is a state mandated multi-year process that intentionally guides students and families in the exploration of career, academic, and post-secondary opportunities.  Starting in middle school students develop an awareness of how their learning style and personal interests correlate into course selection, college choices, and career opportunities.

This year, students will be completing ICAP Extension Lessons through their Crew classes. These lessons will be a continuation of their initial ICAP which will take place during the first 2 weeks of September. The lessons will include deeper exploration of careers, learning about post-secondary readiness, understanding financial responsibility and options as related to college, and how academic success relates to all of this.
