Conifer High School is known for its strong focus on academics. Students may choose from 20+ AP courses and 10 Honors courses. Conifer is consistently ranked as one of the best high schools in Colorado.
Conifer's performance and visual arts programs allow students to explore and grow.
The Lobo Regiment marching band consistently places in the top 10 at state competitions and Conifer students routinely win spots on district and state honor bands and orchestras.
Visual art students are also well represented at District competitions.
The athletic program at Conifer offers sports for both boys and girls: soccer, tennis, golf, baseball, softball, football, swim & dive, track & field, lacrosse, and more.
Journalism students from Conifer High School have won several awards at the state level. Course offerings include: Newspaper, Yearbook, Journalism, Multimedia and LoboTrax. Student Media Teacher, Ms. Leslie Thompson, was awarded the JEA Rising Star Award in 2016.
Business students also participate in DECA, another state and nationally recognized program.
Conifer High School takes pride in its ability to create relationships: student-to-student through the Link and Peer Counseling programs; staff-to-student through Seminar and the Learning Center; school-to-community through PTSA and other civic partnerships.
Beginning in the 2014-15 school year, Conifer High School initiated a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) program. Rigorous classes in Science and Math support this program.
