5th & 6th GRADE OUTDOOR LAB & KING SOOPERS/SAFEWAY CARDS
We are so excited to be able to offer our Coal Creek
Families the Outdoor Lab Grocery Store Cards.
These cards are one of the biggest forms of support to help make Outdoor
Lab more affordable. Families/Friends
can purchase cards for a specific student or school and the store then donates
a percentage of the amount loaded on each card to the Outdoor Lab Foundation. The
Foundation then holds 4.5 percent of the card load in a separate account with a
specified student or school name.
You can sign up online or fill out an application for a King
Sooper/Safeway card. Order forms and a Parent Letter went out today in O/O
Friday folders. Please note: You can order as many cards as you need to on this
form, HOWEVER you must fill out an application for EACH student you want the
funds to benefit. Please let the front
office know if you would like more than one application form. This opportunity is good for Kindergarten through 6th grade students, so take advantage of this program and start paying for your student's Outdoor experience while purchasing groceries for your family.

2014-15 CMAS: PARCC
ELA and Math Individual Student Result Reports
4th-8th grade students received their
CMAS individual student result reports. Please remember to look over the
resources provided to you last month in the Friday Notes and in the handout,
“What to Know About the CMAS Test Results” that was also sent home last month.
Some highlights of the handout are 1) CMAS CANNOT be compared with old state
tests (CSAP/TCAP) because they measure different standards. 2) Scores for the
new CMAS tests are expected to be lower and serve as a NEW BASELINE. 3)
Eight months have passed since students took the 2014-15 CMAS ELA and math
