After graduating from Grand Junction High School, I moved to Greeley to get my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado. I began my teaching career in Jefferson County. I taught first through sixth grades during my first nine years of teaching. After I received my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lesley University, I was lucky enough to land a job at the famous Bradford South! I taught third grade for five years, and then I came over to Bradford North and have been teaching fourth grade ever since.
I am married to the PE teacher, Mr. B., and we have two daughters who both went through the Bradfords, Deer Creek Middle, and graduated from Chatfield Senior High School. Kaylee has earned her degree in Elementary Education from UNC and is pursuing her Master's Degree in ELL. Cassie is in the process of figuring out what the future holds for her.
We all love going the movies, supporting the Colorado Rockies, and going on family hikes. We have two energetic dogs; Pepper and Charley. I like to scrapbook, read, drink Starbucks, and swim in the ocean as much as possible. I am looking forward to another great year of teaching and working with students!
