Welcome to the Bear Creek K-8
Physical Education Webpage

Mr. Keyes and Ms. Stenbeck ask that you explore this site to find information out regarding activities and information from the PE department.

Students at Bear Creek K8  work hard towards meeting and exceeding the standards for Physical Education. Students are currently working on skills that are developmentally appropriate for their grade and age. These skills are currently aligned with the model content standards for Physical Education in Jefferson County public schools. These standards and grade level specific benchmarks and grade level curriculum guides can be found on the Jefferson County home page, under Physical Education.

Shoes and Clothing: For the safety, well-being and expectation of children to give their best effort in PE, we require proper athletic/workout attire in class.  This includes supportive, athletic shoes with outside ties or straps, flexible clothing that allows movement, clothes that are not extremely baggy. If your child has to hold their pants up, due to being too baggy, they will not be participating that day.
Winter boots, croc sandals, open toed shoes, shoes with heels, discs on the bottom and slip on rubber soled shoes are not appropriate for PE.
