BEAR CREEK MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETICS

Bear Creek K-8 School offers a unique interscholastic athletic program for students in grades six through eight. Bear creek is the only Jefferson County Public School that offers this type of program. Therefore, the district does not fund this program. The program runs strictly on parental funding, private donations and fundraisers. Only Bear Creek 6-8th graders are eligible to participate in the school sports program.

Students are offered cross country, volleyball, basketball, track and field and cheer leading. We participate with public, private and  parochial schools in the Metro area.

Students athletes must maintain a high level to participate. Responsibility and discipline have increased with our students athletes transition to the high school  level.

We appreciate the support of our community and the many volunteer hours spent on keeping our sports program running with high standards.
