A little about me...I grew up in Colorado Springs and throughout school, science was always my passion. I love to observe, learn about, and figure things out about the world around us and our amazing human bodies. I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Anatomy. From there I went on to get my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University. While working as a physical therapist, I had the opportunity to work with the athletic trainers and athletes at the high schools and really enjoyed working with high school age patients. When the opportunity came to teach, I jumped at the chance. I have worked at Evergreen High School since 2001, teaching Earth Science, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Health Science.
