ASSR is an initiative of Jnana-Deepa Vidyapeeth, Pune, India, to foster creative dialogue between science and religion in Pune. It aims to conduct various programmes and hold conferences to promote healthy interaction between science and religion from Indian perspectives.

Founded in 1998, it has been actively coordinating activities like seminars, workshops, lectures, essay writing and competitions that promote interaction between scientific and religious perspectives.

It is located at the spacious campus of JDV, Pune, India.
