Jim Davies Civil Engineering was formed as a limited company in 1976 and has since expanded into what is now a vastly experienced workforce with expertise in Civil Engineering, Mining, subsidence and Plant Hire.
The company now provides employment to over 35 local people, many of whom have been employed by the company for over 10 years.
A quality assurance system conforming to ISO9001 (2000) has been in place with our company since 1994 as a measure to strive to further improve our service to all of our clients. Our company also encourages the education and development of all employees with sponsorship provided to fund professional development courses and actively encourages the training and development of all employees.
The company is registered with Constructionline and is also registered to carry out work on Welsh Water drainage apparatus.
Environmental issues are also taken very seriously by our company and wherever possible materials are recycled to reduce the need for disposing of materials on landfill sites, the unnecessary use of aggregates from quarries and unnecessary destruction of our forests.
An Environmental policy has also been implemented to
reiterate our commitment to environmental policies and to exhibit to all our
clients and employees that we are a company that is able to progress and adapt
along with modern day society in which we all have to work within.
The works carried out by our company are as diverse as small house drainage projects which include constructing bases and rafts for residential developments, to constructing roads, bridges, dams, spectator stands for rugby football clubs and the capping and sealing of redundant mine working.
