ANNIE'S HOPE: THE BEREAVEMENT CENTER FOR KIDS. http://www.bereavementctr.org. This organization works with children who have serious diseases or who have suffered the loss of a family member. Volunteers are needed to provide companionship, to work on arts and crafts, and to help at parties and other events.


BJC HOSPICE/WINGS. http://www.stlouischildrens.org This organization provides hospice care for families with chronically or terminally ill children. Among the services provided are art and music therapy, home visits, emotional support and pain management. Volunteers of all sorts are needed. A summer camp is also offered to patients and family members.
