Josiah Bartlett School supports two sports programs.
The following interscholastic sports are offered for 7th and 8th grade students:
Field Hockey, Soccer, Basketball, Softball, Baseball and Skiing.
All students participating in interscholastic sports at the Middle School level receive a handbook which outlines requirements for participation. A physical exam, done within the year, is required to be on file prior to the first practice on entry into middle school sports. Students have the responsibility of maintaining acceptable grades, and cooperative, sportsmanlike behavior in the classroom and in activities, both athletic and social. Students participating have the opportunity to earn the Bartlett ‘B’ letter. The letter is awarded for participation in activities and is given to seventh graders at our awards day in June. A certificate of participation is awarded to both 7th and 8th grade students.
The second sports program is through the Bartlett Recreation program.
