Mrs. Smith's Classes

Welcome! I'm Mrs. Smith, and I'm thrilled to be teaching at Jamestown for this school year. This will be my 30th years teaching.  I spent my first nine years at Blair Oaks High School in the business department, then the next twenty years at Nichols Career Center/Jefferson City High School.  I received my undergraduate Business Education degree from Southwest Missouri State University and my Masters in Business from University of Missouri-Columbia.  I have also taught adjunct faculty for Lincoln University in Dual Credit and summer courses.  I retired in May, only to be lucky enough to have this wonderful opportunity this year to get back to a small school and am looking forward to forming new relationships here with the students and their families in this welcoming Jamestown community.  I am also thrilled to be the adviser for Future Business Leaders of America.  This will be my 30th year in that role as well.  FBLA has so much to offer students! I believe the success of every student is a priority and that communication by the teacher, parent and student is a very important part of that.   I'm excited about a great school year!

If you have any comments, questions, or concerns throughout the school year, please feel free to contact me at any time.
