Dreambox Learning is a math program that grows with your child.  As they master concepts the games get progressively more difficult.  As they complete games they earn certificates to be proud of.
Click here to play Dreambox at home.
If you have an iPad or tablet you can play on the Dreambox app.  After you have the app click "Play with School Code"  and enter etbu/jacksongs .


IXL IXL can also be played on a computer or be put on an Ipad or tablet as an app.

News From The Classroom

  • Listening Walk
    We will be doing some science work with sound and light over the next few weeks.  Today we went on a listening walk inside and outside the school.  We were silent and counted the sounds we could hear.  It was amazing how many there were.  We got the inspiration for our listening walk from a book by the same name.  Click here to watch the story...and maybe you can take a listening walk of your own!

  • Understanding Our World
    We have been learning about our world through a study of different ecosystems.  The Amazon Rainforest is our current topic.  We have learned all about the layers of the rainforest and about how so many different species call it home.  We have been collaboratively creating a mural showing the layers and life of this amazing place.

  • December 4, 2017 Dear Families,Thank you very much for coming out to support the craft fair!  We had a great turnout and made a lot of money for the school PTO.  This Thursday we will be having a PTO meeting from 3:15-4:30.  There is childcare available.  We will be giving an overview of winter programs here at the school as well as around the valley.  Additionally we will be talking about some of the upcoming PTO sponsored events we may need assistance with.  I hope you will all be able to make it!We are excited to have a new student named Brianna!  She is in the first grade and is a welcome addition to the classroom.  All of ...

  • November 13, 2017 Dear Families,We will be working hard this week to get our classroom ready for Open House on Thursday evening.  I hope that you will all come and see the wonderful work your children are doing at school.  The K-3 portion of Open House begins at 5:30.  At 6:00 we are all invited to the Whitney Center for the 4-6 showcase of their Immigration Study.  There will be costumes, food to taste, and music to enjoy!It is also the time of year when we do Parent/Teacher Conferences so I can update you about your child’s progress and you can check in with me about any questions you might have.  I will have a ...
