Dreambox Learning is a math program that grows with your child.  As they master concepts the games get progressively more difficult.  As they complete games they earn certificates to be proud of.
Click here to play Dreambox at home.
If you have an iPad or tablet you can play on the Dreambox app.  After you have the app click "Play with School Code"  and enter etbu/jacksongs .


IXL IXL can also be played on a computer or be put on an Ipad or tablet as an app.

News From The Classroom

  • Listening Walk
    We will be doing some science work with sound and light over the next few weeks.  Today we went on a listening walk inside and outside the school.  We were silent and counted the sounds we could hear.  It was amazing how many there were.  We got the inspiration for our listening walk from a book by the same name.  Click here to watch the story...and maybe you can take a listening walk of your own!

  • Understanding Our World
    We have been learning about our world through a study of different ecosystems.  The Amazon Rainforest is our current topic.  We have learned all about the layers of the rainforest and about how so many different species call it home.  We have been collaboratively creating a mural showing the layers and life of this amazing place.

  • February 12, 2019 Dear Families,We are gearing up for our Valentine’s exchange on Thursday.  Today we painted beautiful paper in shades of red, pink and white and we will use it to decorate our “mailboxes”.  If you have not yet sent in a cereal box with your child please do so! Also, if you have any heart shaped stickers, doilies, stamps, paper, etc that you would like to donate to the K/1 we would love it.  We always get very creative on Valentine’s Day!Conveniently, Thursday is also the day we will celebrate the 100th day of school!  We will do all sorts of activities centered on 100.
