Dreambox Learning is a math program that grows with your child.  As they master concepts the games get progressively more difficult.  As they complete games they earn certificates to be proud of.
Click here to play Dreambox at home.
If you have an iPad or tablet you can play on the Dreambox app.  After you have the app click "Play with School Code"  and enter etbu/jacksongs .


IXL IXL can also be played on a computer or be put on an Ipad or tablet as an app.

News From The Classroom

  • Listening Walk
    We will be doing some science work with sound and light over the next few weeks.  Today we went on a listening walk inside and outside the school.  We were silent and counted the sounds we could hear.  It was amazing how many there were.  We got the inspiration for our listening walk from a book by the same name.  Click here to watch the story...and maybe you can take a listening walk of your own!

  • Understanding Our World
    We have been learning about our world through a study of different ecosystems.  The Amazon Rainforest is our current topic.  We have learned all about the layers of the rainforest and about how so many different species call it home.  We have been collaboratively creating a mural showing the layers and life of this amazing place.

  • September 4, 2018 Dear Families,We are off and running here in the K/1.  Our biggest focus right now is learning the rules and routines of the classroom that help us to stay safe and be able to learn.  The kids are doing a wonderful job so far!One of the routines that we learn in the first weeks of school is that of snack and lunch. SNACK: Children need to bring a snack every day, even if they are buying school lunch.  We have about 15 minutes to eat our snack, so it should be relatively quick and easy to eat and clean up.  LUNCH: Children can bring their lunch from home or they can order from the school.  If they ...

  • May 29, 2018 Dear Families,We are excited to go on our Field Trip tomorrow to the Tin Mountain Field Station!  If you are interested in joining us we would love to have you come along, you can ride the bus with us, follow the bus, or just meet us there.  Please let me know in the morning if you plan to come along!We will be leaving the school at 9:00 and returning around noon.Kids should have:Sturdy shoes-NO open toes or flip flopsBaseball or sun hatEasy to eat snackWater bottle that closes well (We have extras here if need be)Please put the appropriate sunscreen on your child before you send them to school.  We ...
