The Indian Valley Public Library has a lot to offer your preschooler!

The Youth Services Department at the Indian Valley Public Library serves children from birth through age 18. You can find information for babies & preschoolers, school age kids up to Grade 6 (about ages 5-12); and then Teen Services takes over providing materials, resources and programs for ages 12-17.

Explore the books, videos, magazines, and music available in our Children's Room. Stop in and say hello to Mrs. Lindy Janson, our Children's Library Assistant and 
Ms. Lauren Pfendner, our Children's Librarian.                                                                   

We offer:
  • a large collection of picture books
  • a large collection of non-fiction and informational picture books
  • AWE Early Literacy Stations™ with a variety of learning games
  • Story Time Programs
Story Times and special programs are offered seasonally for preschoolers from birth up to age 5. For other library programs check out our Calendar.

Get a library card. Even babies who live in the Souderton Area School District can get a library card.

Early literacy games and online story times are a great way to spend the day.
