Google Apps for Administrators (Whyman)

Are you an administrator or tech person looking to help your district be more efficient? Want to provide your teachers with class rosters and parent contact info fed with ‘live’ data from your DA-Site? How about providing them with up-to-date IEP information, or a one-stop hub or ‘Dashboard’ for all district procedures and forms? Want to manage and track PD requests? In this session, you will learn all of this and more using Google Sheets, Forms, Docs, and Add-Ons including SheetGo. A basic knowledge of spreadsheets and forms will be helpful for this session, although an overview will be provided to get you started - including spreadsheet functions such as query and importrange.

Putting Autocrat to Work For You (Zink)

Participants will learn how to use the Google add on, AutoCrat, to seamlessly export Google Sheets and Google Forms data into Google Doc templates. AutoCrat is similar to Mail Merge. Possible applications of this add on include anytime you would use a pre-made template and plug in individual data. For example, quickly writing reports (psychologists, related services), creating letters to send to parents regarding student data/interventions or meetings, generating emails to automatically send when a behavior form is completed, and much more! Participants should bring a laptop, not an iPad. The presenters will walk participants through the process of using AutoCrat step by step, so they walk away with a complete product and the knowledge of how to create more synced documents. The session will include time for the presenters to assist participants in creating the actual Forms, Sheets, and Docs they want to use with AutoCrat, as well as brainstorm more possible uses for AutoCrat in the school setting.
