Certificate of Attendance
Certificates of Attendance will be available at the close of the conference EACH DAY.  You must attend the closing session to receive a certificate.  Six contact hours of professional learning will be documented on each certificate (two certificates totaling twelve contact hours for the entire conference).

Description: Join K-12 educators for the 8th annual ITIP Ohio Google Summit at The Ohio State University Student Union.  Choose from more than 130 compelling sessions about all the Apps in the G Suite for Education (Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Drawings, YouTube, Classroom, Maps and more) as well as sessions that go beyond the tools that feature cutting edge best practices in educational technology and great teaching!  


Sessions will be presented by Google Education Trainers, Google Educators, and "Googley" Ohio educators sharing how their schools use Google. We will also have sessions by national featured speakers and Ohio educational leaders. Here’s your chance to get all of your Google questions answered!.


Registration:

You may register with Ashland University beginning April 1st for graduate credit.

Use course number [available after April 1] and register online or to pay by check, please complete the pdf form and submit to Ashland. Submit all payments to Ashland (DO NOT submit grad credit payment to ITIP). Outline of Requirements:

  1. Attend all sessions of the participant’s choice at the two day summit. Create a shared Doc to keep a log of the sessions you attend (provide the time, title of each session, and brief summary of the session).
  2. Compose a 2-4 page (2000 characters) reflective essay in Google Docs which includes a summary of multiple application ideas gained at the summit.  
  3. Submit the URL for both assignments using the Google Form at https://goo.gl/forms/nhxO6jSeevv9xvs82. All submitted Google Docs must be made public so that anyone with the link may view. Submissions will not be accepted through email. All Google Docs must be submitted through the form by May 31, 2018, to qualify for credit.


Requirements:

1.  100% Attendance is required May 14 and May 15, 2018.  

2.  Morning graduate credit session will be held at 8:30 on May 14th (check back here prior to 5/14 for meeting location). All graduate credit participants must attend!

  • Participants will be introduced to all the requirements for graduate credit.  

  • Participants will record and share their expectations for the two day Summit in a Shared Google Doc.

  • Participants will explore and respond to resources they obtain throughout the day in their final project.

3.  Submit conference notes and essay by May 31, 2018.
