Certificate of Attendance
Certificates of Attendance will be available at the close of the conference EACH DAY.  You must attend the closing session to receive a certificate.  Six contact hours of professional learning will be documented on each certificate (two certificates totaling twelve contact hours for the entire conference).

Attendees of the annual Google Apps for Education Summit will learn how to save thousands of dollars by using Google’s free Apps for Education, how to simplify the operation of the school, how to transform classrooms into 21st century learning environments, and how to provide the technology-rich education students and parents want.


You may register with Ashland University beginning April 1st for graduate credit. Use course number 6160 K9 and call Ashland (Wendi Bigelow, @ Toll free 877-557-9497 extension 1108; 614-794-4850) to register. Online registration is not currently working. register online or to pay by check, please complete the pdf form and submit to Ashland. Submit all payments to Ashland (DO NOT submit grad credit payment to ITIP). Outline of Requirements:

  1. Attend all sessions of the participant’s choice at the two day summit. Create a shared Doc to keep a log of the sessions you attend (provide the time, title of each session, and brief summary of the session).
  2. Compose a 2-4 page (1000-2000 characters) reflective essay in Google Docs which includes a summary and an outline of multiple application ideas gained at the summit.  
  3. Submit the URL for both assignments using the Google Form at http://goo.gl/forms/TRQVXDQ6yc. All submitted Google Docs must be made public or shared with the instructor. Submissions will not be accepted through email. All Google Docs must be submitted through the form by May 31, 2017 to qualify for credit.


Day 1:

1.  100% Attendance is required May 1 and May 2, 2017.  

2.  Morning graduate credit session will be held at 8:30 in the Orange room on May 1st). All graduate credit participants must attend!

  • Participants will be introduced to all the requirements for graduate credit.  

  • Participants will record and share their expectations for the two day Summit in a Shared Google Doc.

  • Participants will explore and respond to resources they obtain throughout the day in their final project.

3.  Attend all conference sessions.
